Managing Broker

As a John L. Scott broker, my mission is transactional excellence and client satisfaction. That means I work tirelessly to make your real estate buying or selling process as efficient, stress-free and lucrative for you as possible.

Meet Paul

After working in corporate America, Paul McLaughlin was motivated to pave his own path as a real estate broker in 2003. Motivated by freedom of speech, self-direction, defining his own success and the opportunity to make a living in an industry he was passionate about, Paul decided to join John L. Scott’s Seattle Northeast office.

Armed with a deep knowledge of many communities in the Seattle metro area and the Eastside, Paul’s defining approach is centered around his winning attitude and ability to connect with clients. Paul will often lead a pre-listing inspection and sewer scope prior to listing. He will then offer both reports to prospective buyers, which can prove to be an effective offer-generating tool.

As a long time philanthropist involved in many nonprofits, Paul was honored in 2017 for his years of work in the nonprofit world with the prestigious Community Service Award from Seattle King County Realtors. People, music, philanthropy, sports, cooking, physical fitness and striving to be the best are all among Paul’s inspirations in his day-to-day life. He stays active in his spare time, and can often be found skiing, hiking, bicycling and performing live music. He also enjoys viewing art and taking rides on his motorcycle.

Seattle

Seattle is a fantastic city for a lot of reasons, but one of the best things about it is the natural beauty that surrounds us. Nothing beats a crystal clear day when you can see the Olympic Mountains and Mount Rainier. But even on rainy days which, yes, we do have a few of here, the views of Puget Sound and Lake Washington are breathtaking. Seattle has a rainy reputation, but our best kept secret is how spectacular our summers are. While a lot of the country is sweltering with heat and humidity, we're basking in the perfect warm days and our long summer days allow us to enjoy water sports, hiking and cycling and tending to our gardens. In the winter, skiing and snowboarding are only an hour away. People recognize Seattle by the Space Needle and Pike Place Market, but we also have a thriving arts and cultural scene, great art museums, symphony, opera, and ballet.
